Priority Enrollment is a great way to allow existing students to sign-up for their classes before allowing new students to take spots in classes that may be in high-demand.
Why is Priority Enrollment a good idea?
- Great way to reward families that are already a part of your organization
- Perk for current families that encourages loyalty to you
- Promotes retention among current customers
- More of your active students will get their top picks for classes before the general public has access
How far in advance should you offer Priority Enrollment?
You may be opening registration a month or two before your class session actually begins. Priority Enrollment should be short enough to urge your families to act now, but long enough for your current families to have time to take advantage of it. It is common to choose a priority enrollment period of a few days to a week before opening your classes up to the masses. With the flexibility Jackrabbit offers, being an online program, and the ability to edit all classes quickly, you can choose a time frame that best suits your needs.
Giving existing students a head start on enrollment can deter them from trying another studio or school in your area. Interested in setting up Priority Enrollment for your next session? Check out our Help article Priority Enrollment in the Parent Portal for the ‘how-to’.
