Set Your Gateway Settlement Schedule

Both C&H Financial and SafeSave Payments Gateways* have a default Settlement Schedule for credit/debit card transactions. This time is the cut-off for same-day processing and any electronic payment transmitted after this time will process (or settle) the following day:

  • C&H Financial - 8:00 pm (ET)
  • SafeSave Payments - 7:30 pm (ET)

Keep in mind if you live in a different time zone, your settlement time will be earlier or later than the times posted above. Note: The Settlement Schedule for ACH processing may be different. Please check with your gateway provider.

Jackrabbit's reporting time frame ends at midnight daily (based on your time zone). If you are not on Next Day Funding with your gateway, we recommend you update your Settlement Schedule to 11:30 pm (latest time available) and confirm your time zone is correct in your Virtual Terminal. This will ensure a better match between your Jackrabbit revenue reports and the merchant processing statement. This is important when trying to reconcile your bank account.

Note: Any additional questions on your gateway account settings or settlement time should be directed to your gateway provider.

Update Settlement Schedule Time

  1. Go to the Gear (icon) > Settings > ePayments and click Manage Settings under Credit Card & Bank Account Settings.
  2. Click on the Virtual Terminal button and sign into your Payment Partner site.
  3. Click Settings in the Main Menu to open Gateway Options.
  4. Click Settlement Schedule.
  5. Update the Settlement Schedule time for your provider to 11:30 pm.
  6. Click Update Settlement Schedule and click Logout when done.

Adjust Your Time Zone

  1. Go to the Gear (icon) > Settings > ePayments and click Manage Settings under Credit Card & Bank Account Settings.
  2. Click on the Virtual Terminal button and sign into your Payment Partner site.
  3. Click Settings in the Main Menu to open Gateway Options.
  4. Click the link to Account Information and confirm your Time Zone is correct. 
  5. Save changes.
