Enter an Absence from the Class Record

If you are not using the Staff Portal Attendance feature, and your database is set to track absences, you can enter absences from the Class record.

  1. Navigate to the Class record and select the Enter Absences button.    
  2. On the Enter Absences page, verify the Absence Date is correct (click the calendar icon to select a different date).     
  3. Select the Absent ? check box for the appropriate student(s) in the enrollment list.    
  4. If applicable, select Eligible for Makeup. (To learn more about Makeups, see Schedule a Makeup.)    
  5. Add Notes, if needed.    
  6. Save Changes
