The Business Intelligence Dashboard (BID) - Students page provides you with a quick overview of how many students attended classes for the month selected. This includes new students enrolling for the first time (does not include trials), and the students who have dropped all enrollments with no future enrollments assigned.
Knowing how many new students enroll and how many students drop from your programs provides you with the information needed to understand your student base. A high drop rate (churn) may identify issues with the classes you offer, instructors, or the overall student experience.
The data is presented in tiles or sections, and multiple tiles make up the Students - Overview page.
Students - Overview
The data presented on the Students Overview page is the total number of students enrolled in classes for a month as compared to the previous months and previous years, depending on the filters you select. Hover over any bar graph to see additional details.

Tile Descriptions
Each tile represents reporting data for students in your organization.
| First of Month Student Count Over Time, by Month and Year | This graph shows you the trend for the month of students who attended a class in that month minus dropped students. This data does not include Trial classes. |
| New Students, by Month and Year | The total number of students that were added as of the last day of that month. These enrollments exclude Trials and same-day cancellations. |
| Dropped Students, by Month and Year | The total number of students who were enrolled in a class during the month and dropped out of the class by the last day of that month. |
Tile Icons
Hover and click on a tile icon located on the top-right of each tile for additional information for the Students page to get info, sort data, or take action.

 | Filters - Lists the filters and slicers that were selected for the data visual. |
 | Focus mode - Enlarges the tile to full-screen size. |
 | More options - Drops down an additional list of options for the tile you are looking at. |
Take Action
Use this Student data to track trends to forecast the need to increase or decrease the number of classes you offer, adjust class sizes, add additional days or times, and adjust staffing.
Think about collecting feedback from departing students and their families, the school can identify areas for improvement and work to enhance the overall experience. These may include offering incentives to returning students, addressing common reasons for leaving or introducing new and engaging programs to keep students interested.
Your BI Dashboard is embedded in Jackrabbit for easy access and is powered by Microsoft Power BI. There are many filtering options and different views for the data in your dashboard.
