Yearly Summary - Business Intelligence Dashboard

Take a look at your organization's yearly enrollment, student, and retention trends using the Business Intelligence Dashboard (BID) - Yearly Summary page.

Understanding yearly enrollment and student trends provides valuable insights into your performance, growth potential, and areas for improvement. This can be used for marketing strategies, identifying demand for different programs/classes, and which programs to expand, modify, or discontinue.

Yearly data is also crucial for long-term financial planning. This information might involve expanding facilities, hiring additional instructors, or justifying investments in upgrading facilities or equipment. In addition, tracking the retained student rate is important because the cost of keeping an existing student enrolled is much less than the cost of acquiring new students.

The data is presented in tiles or sections, and multiple tiles make up the Yearly Summary dashboard page. Hover over any bar graph to see additional details.

Yearly Summary - Overview

The data presented in the first tile on the Yearly Summary page is the total enrollment for the year as it compares to the previous years. The next tile is the number of students by year chart. The data table is not shown in this example.

Take Action

You may want to take a deeper look at the students who have left the program:

  • Are they just getting older and aging out?
  • Which students are staying and why?
  • Do you need to adjust class days/times at different times of the year due to school schedules?

Once you identify which students are leaving and why you can take action. Having this information may prompt you to direct additional marketing dollars toward recruiting new students or revising your business plan for the type of classes you offer.
