Take a look at your organization's monthly/yearly revenue using the Business Intelligence Dashboard (BID) - Revenue Summary page. The data presented helps you keep track of revenue by categories, instructors, classes, non-class revenue, and unapplied credits.
This data provides revenue insights at a glance, rolled up by both month and year, so you can clearly see which classes offered at your organization generate the highest and lowest income by category or instructor.
The interactive data is presented in tiles or sections, and multiple tiles make up the Revenue Summary dashboard page. Click on sections of any graph, and you will see the table change to reflect the Category. Table data can be expanded and sorted by columns.
Revenue Summary - Overview
The data presented on the first tile of the Revenue Summary page is the total revenue for the month or year as it compares to the previous two years. The next tiles are as follows:
- Revenue by Cat 1
- Class Revenue by Cat 2
- Class Revenue by Cat 3
- Class Revenue by Class Name
- Class Revenue by Instructor
- Revenue by Transaction Type
- Revenue by Session
- Unapplied Payments

Tile Descriptions
Each tile represents revenue reporting data from your organization for the following:
| Revenue | Total revenue is presented by month and year depending on the filters selected in the top section of the page. Revenue equals any payments minus refunds (including applied and unapplied). The image is shown above. |
| Revenue, by Cat 1 | Total revenue by Category 1. Revenue equals payments minus refunds (including applied and unapplied). The image is shown above. |
| Class Revenue, by Cat 2 | Total revenue by Category 2. Revenue equals payments minus refunds (including applied and unapplied). This tile will be blank if you don't use Cat 2 for your business. Click any bar in the data visual (graph), and the numerical data will be displayed in the table to the right.

Class Revenue, | Total revenue by Category 3 classes. Revenue equals payments minus refunds (including applied and unapplied). This tile will be blank if you don't use Cat 3 for your business. Click any bar in the data visual (graph), and the numerical data will be displayed in the table to the right.

Class Revenue, by Class Name | The total revenue shown on this tile equals payments minus refunds (including applied and unapplied) for specific classes. Click any bar in the data visual (graph), and the numerical data will be displayed in the table to the right.

Class Revenue, by Instructor | The total revenue shown on this tile equals payments minus refunds (including applied and unapplied) for specific instructors. Click any bar in the data visual (graph), and the numerical data will be displayed in the table to the right.

Revenue, by Transaction Type | Revenue shown on this tile equals payments minus refunds for all other fees and does not include class revenue. For example, this may include registration and tuition fees, gift cards, merchandise, competition fees, etc. Click any bar in the data visual (graph), and the numerical data will be displayed in the table to the right.

Non-Class Revenue, by Session | Revenue shown on this tile equals payments minus refunds for all other fees and does not include class revenue and is shown by Session. Click any bar in the data visual (graph), and the numerical data will be displayed in the table to the right.

Unapplied Payments | Unapplied revenue in this tile is equal to payments that have been collected, however, they have not been linked to a fee. Click any bar in the data visual (graph), and the numerical data will be displayed in the table to the right.

Hover and click on a tile icon located at the top-right of each tile for additional information for the Revenue Summary page to get info, sort data, or take action.

 | Focus mode - Enlarges the tile to full-screen size. |
 | More options - Drops down an additional list of options for the tile you are looking at. |

- Which classes have the highest and/or lowest revenue?
