Take a look at your organization's monthly enrollment and student trends using the Business Intelligence Dashboard (BID) - Monthly Summary page. Tracking enrollment and student count is essential to manage capacity, resources/scheduling, effective management, financial planning, marketing, and ensuring the overall quality and safety of your programs. It helps the school provide better service to its students and their families while maintaining its long-term sustainability and growth.
The data is presented in tiles or sections, and multiple tiles make up the Monthly Summary dashboard page. Hover over any bar graph to see additional details.
Monthly Summary - Overview
The data presented in the first tile on the Monthly Summary page is the total enrollment for a month as it compares to the previous months and previous years. The next tile is the number of students by month with a yearly comparison. The data table is not shown in this example.

Tile Descriptions
Each tile represents reporting data from your organization for the following:
Ending Enrollments Over Time, by Month | This is the number of enrollments coming into the month with at least one enrollment, plus any additional enrollments, less any drops for that month. |
Ending Students Over Time, by Month | The number of students coming into the month with at least one enrollment, plus any additional student enrollments added in that month. |
Monthly Summary | The actual count that makes up the tile data visual for Month over Month and Year over Year Enrollments and Student counts (not shown in this article). |
Tile Icons
Hover and click on a tile icon located at the top-right of each tile for additional information for the Monthly Summary page to get info, sort data, or take action.
Help - A brief description of the information included in the tile. | |
Filters - Lists the filters and slicers that were selected for the data visual. | |
Focus mode - Enlarges the tile to full-screen size. | |
More options - Drops down an additional list of options for the tile you are looking at. |

Take Action
If you are tracking your sales and marketing efforts to enrollment, you will be able to calculate your Return on Investment (ROI) using this data.
Watching your retention numbers will give you an indication of your organization's success rate. High retention indicates happy customers and a successful business. A high churn rate indicates unhappy customers. Tracking this data over time, you will be able to gauge an acceptable churn rate. Compare these numbers to the industry average to see how you measure up against your competitors.
