Can you tell me the function of the # Days Reqd., # Classes Reqd, and Test Fee columns in Manage Skills/ Levels?
Resolution
The # Days Reqd., # Classes Reqd., and Test Fee columns in Manage Skills/Levels are optional, informational fields. They’re most useful for organizations with time-based skills or skills that require a set number of classes before a student can pass or be tested. These fields are for internal use and are only visible inside Jackrabbit.
- Days Reqd. - is the number of days that a student must work on or hold a skill/level before being eligible to pass or test for it. When you enter a number here, the Days column on the Skills/Levels Search report shows how many days have passed since the student started the skill/level, making it easy to compare their progress to the requirement.
- Classes Reqd. - is the number of classes a student must attend before the skill can be evaluated or tested. Once a value is entered here, the Attend column on the Skills/Levels Search report shows how many classes the student has been marked present for since they started the skill/level, giving you an easy point of comparison.
- Test Fee - can be used to note the fee associated with testing for the skill/level. It does not post anything automatically; any related fees must be posted by a Jackrabbit user.
