I've been trying to get used to the new dashboard. I'm using the comfortable view, but it doesn't seem to notify me of absences.

On the Executive Dashboard, in Comfortable View, alerts are organized by whether they require action or simply provide information. Absence alerts fall into the informative group.
When you’re viewing actionable alerts (the default), the View Informative link displays a badge showing how many informative items need attention. Use this link to switch to the informative alerts. The two absence alerts appear at the top of that list and include links to their related reports.
