I have scheduled a makeup for a child, but the date is in red. Can you explain why? Will this cause a problem?
Resolution
The scheduled makeup appears in red because the makeup date falls after the makeup expiration date. When viewing a student’s Absences tab, hover over the red text to see a pop-up message explaining why it appears in red.
Makeup dates shown in red do not cause any issues. The student will still appear on the roster for the scheduled makeup date, and attendance can be taken as usual.
