Use the Business Intelligence Dashboard (BID) - Skills page to help you understand, at a glance, the skills and subskills assigned to each class, how long it takes on average for the students to master those skills, and how many students have completed the skills.
Knowing where students stand in terms of skill attainment, your organization can set realistic and achievable goals for each student. This motivates students and provides a clear path for improvement. Identifying common areas where students struggle to attain certain skills can guide program improvement efforts.
Multiple filters allow you to drill down by location, skills, students, and more.

Tile Description
The tile represents data from your organization for student skill attainment.

Tile Icons
Hover and click on a tile icon located at the top-right of each tile for additional information for the page to get info, sort data, or take an action.
 | Help? - A brief description of the information included in the tile. |
 | Drill up - Click to drill up in the data table. |
 | Drill down - Click to turn on to drill down in the data table. |
 | Next level - Go to the next level in the hierarchy. |
 | Expand all down - Expand all down one level in the hierarchy. |
 | Filters - Lists the filters and slicers that were selected for the data visual. |
 | Focus mode - Enlarges the tile to full-screen size. |
 | More options - Drops down an additional list of options for the tile you are looking at. |
Take Action
You can use the Skill Attainment page, which is updated daily, to understand how many students in each class are attaining the milestones that have been set for the skills of the class.
- Skill Attainment can be used to discuss student achievement or areas for improvement with your teaching staff.
- Are there too many skills for a class or not enough?
- Are the expectations too high or too low for the class?
- The skills can be communicated to parents by staff in the Parent Portal.
Your BI Dashboard is embedded in Jackrabbit for easy access and is powered by Microsoft Power BI. There are many filtering options and different views for the data in your dashboard. We recommend you visit the Microsoft Power BI Learning Center to see additional options to filter and visualize your data.
